| Notes | Born in Karlovac, on the recommendation of his uncle Caspar Gratiani he was appointed to the Habsburg mission in Constantinople, alongside resident envoy Michael Starzer. Details of his training are not known, but he certainly performed short missions for the resident. In 1617 he applied for court service in Graz. |
