| Notes | Born in Salzburg in 1595, he joined the household of resident envoy Sebastian Lustrier as a young man. After previous university studies in law, he was trained both for the service as an interpreter and as a resident. In 1628–29, he stayed at the Sublime Porte as interim agent until the arrival of the new resident Johann Rudolf Schmid, who took over from Lustrier. His further career is unknown. |
